This affordable housing project is located between the vibrant Hilltop and Downtown neighborhoods of Tacoma, with the University of Washington-Tacoma campus to the east and the St. Joseph Medical Center to the west. Along South G Street, a large courtyard with an open lawn, a small natural play area, a community garden, and a BBQ area offers a variety of different social opportunities for residents in this building. Along South 19th street, a series of stairs and stepped planters take advantage of the steep topography to reveal a striking view of Mt. Rainier.
